The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) of Nova Scotia, also called Scotia PNP, empowers the Province of Nova Scotia to nominate the experienced and skilled individuals who wish to immigrate to the Province of Nova Scotia.

Nova Scotia PNP has five immigration streams:

Nova Scotia Demand through Express Entry: This stream is aligned to the federal government’s Express Entry Immigration selection system which is for a highly skilled individual with post-secondary education and qualification with the ability to contribute to the economic growth of Nova Scotia.

Nova Scotia Experience through Express Entry: This stream also uses the federal government’s Express Entry Immigration selection system which provides a pathway to permanent residence for highly skilled applicants who have already worked for an employer in Nova Scotia for a minimum of 1 year.

Skilled Worker Stream: This stream is for individuals who have received a job offer from a Nova Scotia employer.

Entrepreneur Stream: This stream is for individuals who want to start or take over an existing business and settle permanently in Nova Scotia.

International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream: This stream is for graduates who have completed at least two years of full-time study from Nova Scotia University or community college and have the intention to settle permanently in Nova Scotia.
