The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) allows the province to nominate skilled and experienced individuals to be admitted to Canada by the Federal Government. The Government of Saskatchewan makes the ultimate decision on SINP nominations. When the successful applicants apply for permanent residence status with IRCC, they’ll be identified as SINP nominees.
The three SINP categories that an individual can apply are:
International Skilled Worker: This category is for skilled foreign workers who want to work and live in Saskatchewan.
Saskatchewan Experience: This category is for foreign nationals who are currently living and working in Saskatchewan.
Entrepreneur and Farm: This category is for that individual who plans to start a business or buy and operate a farm in Saskatchewan.
The following people are not eligible to apply for SINP:
People who are prohibited from entering Canada
People living illegally in their county of residence or Canada
People who have had a removal order issued against them by IRCC or Canada Border Services Agency
Once the applicant is sure of the stream to be applied, make sure to have all the relevant documents to be submitted. The application can be done online through e-filing Portal. Once the nomination is accepted, apply for permanent residence through IRCC. The Government of Canada makes the final decision on Permanent resident.
