Three musicians, all in their fifties, will return on tour. They have fans in every age group and play in huge sold-out arenas around the world. They travel in black Mercedes limousines – each with their own – stay separately in luxury hotels and have separate changing rooms behind the scenes every night. They are just one stage together. We watched Morton Harkett, Magne Furucholman and Paul Vaaktaar very close to our camera. Our mission is to understand why these three childhood friends have become so cold to each other. Something was really rotten between them, but what? Two blondes from the group – Magne and Paul – formed their first group together at the age of 10. And like most teenagers, they dream of becoming world-famous rock musicians. In Norway in the 1970s, this was an impossible childhood dream. The country is known for its zero points in the Eurovision Song Contest and has never formed a band known outside its borders. But of all the people, these children succeeded. Their dream came true. But is it really so? The three answered this question with a hint of hesitation. In fact, they dream of becoming serious rock stars, not teen idols who appear in glossy magazines.
